Your journey begins with a morning departure from Marrakech, where you’ll be picked up from your hotel or riad around 8:00 am before setting off through the picturesque landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll pass through traditional Berber villages, vast olive groves, and rolling hills, with short stops for photos to capture the stunning scenery. By late morning, you’ll arrive at the magnificent Ouzoud Waterfalls, towering 110 meters high and surrounded by lush greenery. Here, you can take a guided walk down the trails to the base of the falls, admire the breathtaking cascades, and spot the playful Barbary macaque monkeys that inhabit the area. For those who wish, a short ride on a traditional wooden boat offers a closer look at the thundering falls.

Around midday, enjoy a leisurely lunch in a charming riverside restaurant, where you can savor authentic Moroccan dishes such as tagines, couscous, or grilled meat while overlooking the cascades. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to relax by the water, take memorable photos, go for a refreshing swim during the warmer months, or wander through the small souks and handicraft stalls nearby.
